Our resident microbes are part of a complex symphony... sounding out together with a common goal. Perhaps this turns into a cacophony of noise at times of stress or illness, but ideally the human resident microbial orchestra works for their conductor and their conductor works for them.
We have a symbiotic relationship with our resident microbes, what does that mean? Quite simply our existence depends on their existence and vice versa. Think of them as your ‘microbe buddies’ and if you look after them, they will look after your digestion, immune function and possibly even your mood.
“The major role your microbes play in essential jobs such as digestion elimination, and gut health is just the tip of the iceberg. Microbes are also the main defenders of your health.” By Stephen R. Gundry M.D. “The Plant Paradox”
